Just played through the demo and I really liked it!
Aiming and shooting feels really good. I like that it is slow, it suits the gameplay well!

The fact that the aiming reticle is farther away when aiming at long range kind of simulates the difficulty of aiming at long range, and increases difficulty. Very cool!

I wish you could shoot while prone, this would be very useful and cool! Could give some sort of bonus to aim speed or stability, or something like that.

I really like the art style of the game! Retro look but feels modern because of the post-processing effects and lighting. I wish it was possible to use the scroll wheel to zoom in closer on the character while playing. Would be useful and nice to inspect stuff in the environment. A should swap mechanic when aiming would also be really good to have.

Now I'll talk a bit about the different missions. I like the variety and the visuals! but on my monitor at least, the "slum hit" mission was too dark. I kept running into object that I couldn't see. This mission was also the easiest of the bunch because I'd become quite good at reading the AI, as well as shooting by that point. I just replayed this mission over and over to quickly earn money to test out a different weapon.

I like the optional objective at level 1 where you had to bring a hazmat to open the door.

I liked that you can turn off the security system at the docks level, and I think this level was the coolest visually! The art gallery is a close second, and sneaking through the vent panel there to disable security was awesome.

I also like the music and movie on the computer in the home base, stuff like that is cool, and I imagine you could find new songs as collectibles. The soundtrack for the whole game is dope as well. The mission briefings were a bit tricky to read because of the pixelized effect on the monitor and small writing.

I also experienced a bunch of small bugs, which I wrote down and would be happy to share upon request.

All in all I think you guys have done a great job and I am looking forward to see where Late Stage goes from here!

Best regards from long haired ginger dude at GGT ;)

After playing through what the game has to offer in its current state. The game has potential and is quite enjoyable! But as previously mentioned, this game, despite the simplistic graphics, is oddly GPU intensive (I have a 3080 ti, I played at QHD resolution, and I hit around... 80%?). Besides that, once you understand the inner workings of the enemy AI, things get progressively and progressively easier. Aiming feels precise and smooth and the stealth is well-done.

Since the game seems to only have one enemy type and pretty much one type of AI, it does became stale dealing with them over and over again.

Hm... there isn't much else I can say... I do plan on keeping my eye on this game though!

Wow, great video. We are going to go through this thoroughly and make notes. Optimization is coming in the next update!

Thanks for playing!

No problem, comrade! I played through things mostly blind if we don't count my test playthrough to see how it runs! Towards the end though, I just become silly... and GENOCIDAL

At it's current stage, the game lacks optimization for weaker hardware, the game also lacks directory, which makes it difficult to know where exactly you should be going and what you should be doing. Lack of tutorial at the beginning is also not good.

Edit: I know this is a demo, the demo is sweet otherwise! It does feel like a classic 2000's stealth game. I would love to see what this game evolves into once it's polished and finished!

Yep, my 3080 ti is at 80% or so utilization when playing this game. Graphic options are BADLY NEEDED along with optimization given the graphics of this game.

We are working on optimization and graphical options. It will be a part of our next update. Thank you for your feedback!

Could you please provide us with your PC specifications along with average framerates and CPU/GPU usage, so we get a better idea of the issue? We already knew about optimization issues to a certain extent, but we have not yet tested it on weaker machines.

Thank you for your feedback!
